Reverse (gas-air) valves are intended for air & heating gas suppy to the generator channels and removal of combustion products from channels near tunnels, and also for changing of coke ovens gas flows direction with the capacity of 20-51 m3.
Reverse valve consists of a cam-lever mechanism, a poppet valve, a throttle, a housing, an air cover and a branch pipe near tunnels. Working principle of the reverse valves is based on periodical poppet valve raising and lowering with the help of cam-lever system, connected with the canting mechanism rod by the lever.
