The riser for the coke gas diversion is installed on the top of the coke battery and is designed for primary cooling and diversion of the coke gas, which is generated in the process of coking, from the coking chamber with 13,9…51 m3 volume to the gas collector, and also for overlapping coking chamber during the coke delivery.
Riser control is performed by the coal-charging machine mechanism or manually. Steam-injection or hydro-injection taps, nozzles or sprayers are installed on the risers.
